It’s Dame Time

With the release of Damien Lillard’s newest pro model—the Dame 5—approaching, adidas wanted to start the basketball season by celebrating Dame’s legacy from his Oakland roots to the NBA and beyond.

To tip things off we created a 30 second spot to air on TNT during game time and a billboard at the Blazer’s arena.

After teasing the shoe and building hype around Damian’s brand, adidas needed digital content and a visual center to guide the rollout of multiple shoes with unique stories.

The Dame Time model celebrates one of Dam’es go-to celebrations– Tappin’ his wrist, letting everyone know what time it is.

The All-Skate and Damegoose shoe models tell the story of Dame’s youth, growing up roller skating and biking in the Brookfield neighborhood of Oakland, California.

In honor of his mother, Dame named his next colorway for his mother, Suga Gee.

The People’s Champ model was inspired by boxing legend Errol Spence and represents Lillard’s passion for his second favorite sport.

After a great season and a successful retail, digital and out-of-home campaign, Lillard dedicated his final Dame 5 billboard to the fans.
